Pregnancy Troubles and Update

First I would like to say thank you to all of the people that have still been giving me some traffic on this blog although I haven't been very consistent this last month.  Honestly, this pregnancy has not been the best for me. Even this morning I am already worn out and my body feels like it can't handle much. I just feel really lightheaded and extremely tired and I'm not sure exactly why I'm feeling this way. The doctor has told me that it's due to my low blood pressure and although he's a doctor I don't really believe that to be true because my blood pressure has always been low. I've also never had to deal with this before during any pregnancy so I'm not really sure how to handle it especially now with still having to take care of two small children. To be honest, I'm not really sure how some women do this so many times but I know that this one is it for me.  No more after this! The papers to get my tubes tied have already been signed and ev

Holiday Love

I highly doubt that anyone knows this about me but I absolutely love the holiday season. Honestly, I am really just a family oriented type of person. So I specifically love this time with family, food, and fun. Thanksgiving is by far my favorite just simply because I love to eat and soul food is absolutely amazing. My second favorite holiday is definitely Christmas because of all the joy and happiness it brings. Now, New Years goes along with Christmas and the joy from that. Unfortunately, as we all know, everything goes back to normal after that.

Being a mother during Christmas time can become very stressful. You have to worry about the decorations, food, gifts, outfits (including pajamas), and company (if you plan on having any). That may sound easy to some people but that’s actually a lot of work, time, and money. What makes it all worth it though is the kids faces on Christmas day! I love to see the smiles on their little faces. Of course I don’t achieve those smiles alone. Thankfully my children have big and loving families on both sides so although I do get them gifts as well, the bulk of it comes from the family.

This year my 3 year old son wanted every single thing that he saw on t.v. I never truly believed my parents when they told me that’s what we did as kids until I had some of my own. To be honest though I don’t think that he received any of the gifts he saw on tv. The number 1 and 2 reasons being is simply that I never remembered what he told me he saw and neither would he. So I’m sure everyone just bought what they thought was best and thankfully no toys or clothes were duplicated.

These holidays are always great and hopefully they continue to be that way. Share with me some details from your holiday season. What did you receive for Christmas? Do you have a New Year’s resolution and if so what is it? I hope that everyone is having an amazing time! Happy Holidays!!!
